Tulun Halflings: Halflings in Domain are actually a sub-species of Human but it was an evolutionary off-shoot that happened so long ago that neither race can really remember. Though Humanity could be found across most parts of the world, Halflings can trance the birthplace of their people to the Kingdom of Enotia.
Oddly enough, despite having the most right of ownership over the land, Halflings share their home quite happily with Humans, Nima’ri, Dwarves, Gnomes and many other races. They have a natural curiosity that manifests itself in a form of wanderlust which makes a Halfling want to search out new places and experiences. Oddly they are also very homely and take their home-life very seriously. It is an old Halfling saying that goes “One must always seek out new places, but remember the way back home.”
Halflings enjoy living life to the maximum and never tend to do anything at anything less than its maximum potential. They would rather not start something that do it halfheartedly; and it is this enthusiasm that often makes them seem a little hyper-active and overly hasty to some other races, especially the older-lived ones.
Though most Halflings are not deeply religious, some follow the path of The Twelve and devote their lives to the clergy (those not gripped with wanderlust that is).
Place of Origin: Halflings can be found anywhere in Tulun but are most common in Enotia.
