Tulun Wayangs: Originally from a plane of Shadow, Wayangs are alien, goblinoid-like creatures with a mind-set that is often hard for others to understand. Pulled into Tulun via the Rift they hoped to find some common ground with the Fetchlings who seemed shadow-affiliated at the very least, but the year in which the land fully took to form was not enough time for them to learn the ways of the strange other people they had been flung together with. Fashioning crude boats the Wayang set out west across the ocean in search of new lands to call home, a journey that would take them across the vastness of the Bleak Sea and would last thirteen years, the mass exodus of their people would see their entire population almost halved before they circumnavigated the globe and arrived upon the eastern-most shores of the land they would later know as Omishiru. Settling in small communities away from others, from 13 AR to 75 AR the Wayangs kept to themselves until they were discovered by Omishian explorers. Discovering that the belief of equilibrium that exists in the following of “Ki” was similar to their own belief in “Dissolution”, the more curious of their number sought to learn more of the people of “The Dragon Empire”. Today in 85 AR they are still something of a curiosity to most people within the Empire and are mostly misunderstood by the people of Omishiru. The Wayang for their part, keep mostly to themselves but often share their skills with the Vishkanya.
Place of Origin: Most Wayang are found deep into the wilderness of the eastern-most parts of Omishiru, avoiding the larger communities and following the ways of Shadow. Some do occasionally spend time among the “larger races” however.
